If you want to patch, here's what you have to do, download the patch for your version in this thread. You can download the game fresh from the "cores" section, or a patch to update your older copy of the game. Otherwise, this patch works on any version from 1.4.10 down to 1.3, and will also work on 1.5.1 saves!
BECAUSE OF 1.5.0'S POKEDEX CHANGES/ISSUES, THOSE SAVE FILES WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY ON 1.5.2. IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY DOWNLOADED 1.5.0, PLEASE DELETE THAT VERSION AND ANY SAVE FROM THAT VERSION, AND REDOWNLOAD THE 1.5.2 CORE TO START OVER.
